Well then! I know it’s been a little while, but I did say it would be! So, we’ll go for a bit of an update shall we? First things first…A little over a week ago, I ordered myself a Wordpress Mug… It saddens me to say, that it is yet to arrive! I understand that the site estimated 7 day delivery…But here we are, 7 Days later, and nothing! It’s not only that which surprises me, but when I ordered my Wordpress Hoodie, it was here the next day! I guess I’ll give it one more day, and then get intouch with Wordpress Shop and see what they say…Usually I’d be up in fumes about this kind of thing…But I do like Wordpress, so figure I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt!

Now, what I’ve really wanted to write about…My new job…! I started last Thursday and since then I’ve enjoyed it very much…If you follow me on twitter you’ll have received some of my daily updates with reference to the job… Being as the company is completely online,  it’s very similar to my previous job, which is good in many ways, but due to the vast size of the company, I have so many more responsibilities! I am very impressed!

This weekend not a great deal went on…Friday night we went out in Malvern…Was good to get out for the first time in a month or so… Stops things going stale and boring… Saturday we went for a coffee, and in the evening went to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Now…As much as I dislike Russell Brand, you’ve got to see this film…My biggest surprise with it, is that Russell Branf isn’t the main role.. They don’t make the film about him!

Other than that, the bank holiday was rather chilled…Tidied out the car and watched a bit of TV…Other than that we basked in the weather! I’ll try to get back to updating more often…Promise!

I’d hate to stress the point too much, but yes, tomorrow is the first day of my new job! Which means there will be a couple of big changes over the next month or two… First obviously being my amount of personal online time… I won’t be able to get permanent access to social sites/my blog for that matter… but I’m sure I can work around that…

The second major change is going to be seeing Georgia, sadly I don’t yet know what it was cost me in fuel to make the trip there and back everyday, but after a couple of weeks I’ll be able to gauge the cost!

Other than all this, I’ve had a good day off, but a couple of problems…Mainly the fact that the brake cable snapped whilst upwards on a hill…I’ve got the spare parts now, but I’ve got to learn how to fit it! Haha.

After much deliberation and many, many attempts.. I have given up smoking…As of 12:00 midnight on Friday I gave up…This time, for good! I can’t say I see it as being easy, although since Friday I’ve already started to feel lots of changes to my body, the way I feel, breath and even move!

The benefit of this attempt is that it is not just myself, Georgia has quit with me, making it far easier, but there are some downsides to it…We are both a little touchy at the ebst of times currently, and the air around both of us could be cut with a very, very large knife.

However, hopefully after a few weeks of this, it will get back to normal! I made the decision that for every pack of fags I would buy, I am now going to save the money…I’ll put it in a sealed “piggy bank” as it were, and find out how much I’ve saved over the weeks and months til it is full!

I’ve been planning this for a few weeks now, and I’ve been mailing the owner back and forth….Sadly I’ve had to wait until this week to do it (payday) But I’m purchasing www.samclarke.com!

So, the site will be moved to that domain yes, but it will still also be availible here…That is, until I find a use for the domain and sort out all my external links and search listings etc. Although I’ll miss the www.whatdoiknow.co.uk domain, I feel the new domain will give me a better, more professional look.

I’ll keep updating information regarding the transfer, but it should be the next couple of days or so!

The past few days I’ve been looking at various blogs, and their different themes… Taking ideas and notes etc. I’ve decided I’m going to make a big attempt at creating my own Wordpress theme. Obvioulsy the first theme I create will only be used on this blog, but as the weeks progress I will make other themes I have created availible for download!

I’m lloking to create something far more Web 2.0 than this theme, but I also want it to look far more real than colour on colour, if you get my drift?

If you’ve got anything you’d like to see in a them, let me know, I’d be interested to get some ideas from a few people!
