As it happens the “Worst month of my life” which started a few weeks ago has been getting worse and worse and generally bringing down quite alot… Various talks with friends have brought me to realise that I think too hard about things that just do not need to be noticed, and I try to change things out of my control. We have also noticed that I tend to keep things quiet and try not to let it get to me..

It would appear all the things I’ve kept quiet have finall caught up with me, and it’s all hit me at once.

I thought I’d post the following, as I’ve always seen it as almost a guide for life, and right now I think it seems to mean more to me than in previous events.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream–and not make dreams your master,
If you can think–and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ‘em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings–nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And–which is more–you’ll be a Man, my son!

I’ll be honest… Im at a loose end, and I’m of the opinion having lots of “Freyed Ends” can’t be a good thing at a time like this? For the next couple of weeks I may leave things as they ar eonline and try to sort everything else out. perhaps I’m just trying to complete too many things at once and my interests are becoming conflicted and lacking? I’ll be back in a week or two once everything else is sorted, and I’ll sort this place out too.

So… As I’m sure you’ve read….Georgia’s birthday is getting closer, and my time span for finding a present I really WANT to give her is getting smaller by the day… However, this morning there was a huge development in this matter, and I think this afternoon I’ve ended up with something really special!

I’ve spent all the past couple of days researching flights, and somewhere to stay out in Italy… I’m thinking Florence (Pisa etc.) I was tempted by Torrento, but the amount of rubbish in the streets at the moment put me off a fair bit…

These plans aren’t completely final, but I should be booking flights this evening, and then I’ll have to find somewhere to stay!

If anyone’s stayed in or around Florence before and wants to recommend me anywhere good to visit/stay, then feel free to let me know! Oh, and yeah…Try get a translation for the title

As stated in my previous post, Georgia and myself went shopping this Bank Holiday, up in Birmingham… Being as I don’t really get to shop that often it was quite a treat for me! But it did however, completely bring to light the utter lack of both clothes and shops aimed at men.

We got to Birmingham around 11:30 yesterday morning, and quickly went about hunting down new attire… After spending a good hour forcing our way in, around and out of Primark, we headed over to Urban Outfitters…(Extremely expensive shop) Well, for guys anyway… Which sort of brings me on to one of my points…

We must have gone in every single shop in Birmingham suited for mens clothes, (all 4 of them) and I pretty much came away with nothing… I spend

I managed to buy myself some new jeans, and a couple of T Shirts… That was about it…Spent all morning looking for a pair of shoes I like, which apparently, no one makes shoes that I like!

This is only a quick update…I’ll give a greater detailed course of events this evening once I’ve come back from doing sweet F A…Although, it’s not really as sweet as they say!

I look forward to seeing how other use Wordpress and to what extents they have modified it to suit them… During the event I’ll be attempting a live blog… The only problem is the platform to do so…

There is a Wordpress Plugin, but it’s currently in Development stages…Which means (unless it’s finished before the event) I’ll have to live blog somewhere else…

I think the best option will be to live blog to my Tumblr account… I’ll leave the link here closer to the event, I’ll also try to live blog as much as possible!

The computer would load up to the “safe mode” screen, where you’re given the option to Boot Normally, Last Known Good Configuation, Safe Mode etc… Once it got there, no matter which option was selected you would just be rebooted and set into a loop.

I got into the recovery console and discovered that NTLDR is missing, more commonly known as NT Loader.

Using the recovery console I copied the missing files accross to the appropriate directory, but to no avail.

Being as that didn’t work, I hooked the Hard drive upto my machine with the intention of backing up all their files, then performing a complete system restore, back to (what would effectively be) day 1. But, my computer is of the opinion that the hard drive is completely empty? Which of course, just isn’t true…

Does anybody have any other ideas? I’ve googled it a fair bit, and tried various tasks and tutorials, but nothing seems to be working?

Well, again it’s been a while…I do tend to get angry at mysef when I don’t find the time to update my blog considering how often I’ve updated in the past! I figured as it’s been such a while I’d better get down some of the things that have been going on in my life! For a start…the job.

The job has been going well since day one, with the amount of tasks I am entrusted with increasing every hour. To the extent that my manager will be sending both myself and another member of the IT staff to a network systems administrators course… I’m of the belief that we’re pretty compitent anyway and shouldn’t have any problems with the course…But at the end of it, we get the certificate and become microsoft certified!

The next thing I am very proud of…Since the beggining of winter, my car has been grief…I’ll be honest, as good as it is for a first car, I can’t hack having to drive 35 miles to work next winter with the problems I had this year… So… In the next week or two I should be getting a new car… A Honda Civic i-VTEC Sport to be precise. I’m really looking forward to getting my new car…Both for the fact it’s something new and shiney, but also you know… It’ll be alot of money and I want it to be worth it!

In other news, last night saw the end of my year long relationship with Georgia… Various reasons, some I blame myself for, other I don’t… I’m still very much
